Get to know our club, learn about the local charities we are planning to support this year through our Rotary Foundation and network with your neighbors who are determined to do good in the community.

For more than 110 years, Rotary members have been addressing challenges around the world.

​Grassroots at the core, Rotary links 1.2 million members to form an organization of international scope. It started with the vision of one man — Paul Harris. The Chicago attorney formed the Rotary Club of Chicago on 23 February 1905, so professionals with diverse backgrounds could exchange ideas, form meaningful, lifelong friendships, and give back to their communities.

Rotary’s name came from the group’s early practice of rotating meetings among the offices of its members.

The Merritt Island Rotary Club meets every 1st and 3rd Thursday at the Island Tiki Grill on Merritt Island. The Island Tiki Grill is located upstairs at the Island Lincoln-Mercury Dealership on SR 520 just west of the Banana River. There is plenty of parking behind the dealership. The Island Tiki Grill is located in the center of the building. Just take the curving staircase or the elevator directly to the meeting venue.

This event is open to the public, please come and see what Rotary is all about and learn how we plan to give back to our local community this year through our Rotary Foundation.

There is a networking time with light snacks from 5:15 to 5:45.
