As we embark on another exciting Rotary year, I am filled with pride and gratitude for the devoted Rotarians who make up the Merritt Island Rotary Club. Since our founding on May 26, 1966, our members have been committed to strengthening our community through service, fellowship, and compassion. With our 60th anniversary just around the corner, we celebrate the lives we have touched — from providing school supplies to local students and scholarships for graduating seniors, to brightening the holidays for older adults in assisted living facilities. These projects reflect the heart of who we are.

This year, Rotary’s message Unite for Good reminds us that our greatest strength lies in our human connections. When we welcome new members, collaborate on meaningful projects, and support one another, our impact grows. Rotary calls us to be a force for unity and compassion in a world too often divided, and our club proudly stands as part of that worldwide effort.

I invite you to join us for a meal at our new meeting location, Champs Steakhouse & Bar on Merritt Island.
